For good cheap Anguilla bakeries, Veya Café definitely qualifies. The Veya Café is downstairs from the main restaurant. Nice tranquil setting. They have a tasty lunch menu that includes soups, salads, panini and rotisserie chicken. Definitely a very good selection and everyone should be happy.
Between my wife and 3 year old we split a greek salad and half a chicken. Salads are large, though we probably could have eaten a whole chicken. Great prices, salads were around $10-$15 and the rotisserie chicken was about $8 for a half and $15 for the whole. The place is definitely popular! We arrived right at noon, by the time we left pretty much every seat in the house was taken.
Hope to get back soon!
Nori's Reply: Veya Café is one of my favorite Anguilla travel tips! The paninis are my favorite... Their special "Saba" panini is making my mouth water all the way here in New York right now too. Roast beef, horseradish, yum! A great spot run by wonderful people.
