40 days, nearly 50 submissions, and hundreds upon hundreds of votes later, and we have a winner!
A big congratulations to Marisa Verdi-Liguori...
The voting process wasn't strictly based on social support, but you blew us away with 24 votes on your "original post" and 120 more when you shared your post to your Facebook wall. The total? Nearly 150 votes!
Your photo inspired everyone, putting smiles on our faces and making us want to jump for joy on a beach in Anguilla, too.
Congratulations to runner-ups with the most votes, too, Robin Heyner, Vicki Foertschbeck, Tracey Wirsch Hughes, JoAnne Horigan and Jennie Berdi!
The 33 Days of Anguilla Dreamin' contest may be over, but we all know that Anguilla dreamin' never ends ;-)

Now, what is Marisa's prize?...
As you may already know, CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa's restaurants are setting new fine-dining standards island-wide.
With Executive Chef Jasper Schneider and Food & Beverage Manager Jonas Treffers, the level of cuisine is undeniably gourmet, the service exceptional.
With Executive Chef Jasper Schneider
How "haute" has CuisinArt become? Chef Christophe Muller and Philipe Lusseau, protégés of world-renowned Chef Paul Bocuse (also known as "Chef of the Century," a titled awarded to him by the Culinary Institute of America) visited CuisinArt earlier in November 2014...

Taking part in the resort's Epicurea Golf event, they worked with the staff, preparing haute-cuisine meals for all of the attendees, teaching the chefs little tricks of the trade, sharing culinary secrets and recipes. That's something special.
So, I am excited to say that this year we have teamed up with CuisinArt to let you choose your prize. Will it be French fine dining Le Bistro at Santorini or trendy, Japanese-Caribbean fusion at Tokyo Bay?... The choice is yours!
Full scrumptious details on Le Bistro and Tokyo Bay here.
Whether it's French or Japanese your palate prefers, you have your pick of gourmet cuisine with an Anguillian twist. Choose a dinner for 2 at Tokyo Bay or Le Bistro with a value of up to $250.00 USD valid on your next visit to the island (no cash value, non-transferrable).
What was the background to this contest? Keep reading for details...
"All the leaves are brown and the sky is gray."
The Mamas and The Papas captured "winter dread" in that single line from their 1965 hit. With months of winter lying ahead, my family's thoughts always turned to the tranquil warm beaches of Anguilla.
With apologies to Mama Cass, we were..
"Anguilla dreamin' on such a winter's day."
Nothing says "Anguilla" better than "beaches," and thus, 33 Days of Anguilla Dreamin' began!
For 33 days our Facebook page featured each and every one one of our sunlit strands of sand... 33 beaches, 33 days.
You joined in this dreamy fun, too!
All submissions were posted to our Facebook page here (link opens in new browser window).
Letting creativity know no bounds, you included your family, friends and/or pets in your photos. From winter wonderlands to Anguilla's sun-kissed sands and seas, your photos touched us all!
The photos with the most "votes" (by way of Facebook Likes, Comments and Shares) made it to the finals.
Voting closed Jan. 18th, 2015 at 11:59pm EST.
Once all of the votes were in and counted, Chef Jasper, Jonas and I selected the winner based on social support and personal preference.
A big congratulations to winner, Marisa Verdi-Liguori!
