First, The Location

Gazing out to St. Martin and the clear Caribbean Sea, Beaches Edge offers some of the most panoramic views of St. Martin.

The villas are located just a two minute drive from Blowing Point, the closest point of access to St. Martin. Its proximity to St. Martin (and its stunning mountains) gives it an impressive and intimate view of the island, with nothing but Caribbean blue in the foreground.

In one word, it is serene!

Second, Modern Architecture and Finishings

Beaches Edge is made up of two villas, Beaches Edge East (set on the eastern side of the property) and Beaches Edge West (located on the land's west side).

The villas are nearly identical, both with luxurious modern furnishings and contemporary architecture.

This villa's fresh design had me at hello!

Lush greens and towering, breezy palm trees frame the entrance walkway towards each villa. From the manicured gardens to the all-glass main floor of the villa, when you approach Beaches Edge, you are immersed in a feeling of zen.

Indoor Living, Dining and The Kitchen

The villa's main floor features a large great room, with beautiful vistas of St. Martin (the whole main living space is all glass on two sides). Outfitted in neutral tones with carefully selected art work and fixtures, it all translates into a mood of calm.

The stone accents (lining the edge of the north wall) and the careful use of wood and bamboo throughout lends just the right amount of warmth to the room.

The main living space features plenty of comfortable seating areas and a large dining table.

Beyond the main living space is the kitchen, complete with every modern appliance including a sub-zero wine fridge. The kitchen conveniently opens onto the villa's outdoor living space (facing the Caribbean Sea) and a walkway that runs along the side of the villa that has a BBQ, perfect for preparing grilled lunches.

Outdoor Living

The glass doors on the south wall of the villas open from the kitchen to the large stone pool deck. Split level, with a spa tub, and sun loungers, and an endless supply of Anguilla's sunny rays, it is simply idyllic.

The outdoor living space also has a dining area for meals enjoyed al fresco.

Media Center

Adjacent to the kitchen is the media room. I have to say that the owners have made sensible use out of every square inch of space. A room without a view, it's the perfect spot to turn off the lights and tune into favorite TV shows and movies. It features a large, flatscreen TV, and cushy couches that are hard to part from! ;-)

The Bedrooms

Beaches Edge is a five bedroom villa (including master bedrooms) complete with their own bathrooms (and master bathrooms).

The blend of modern-chic wit Caribbean and tropical influences and artwork continues upstairs where the bedrooms are located.

The bedrooms are plush!

With beautiful, comfortable bedding and tasteful, modern touches, they are luxurious and indulgent.

The master bedrooms feature master bathrooms. The master bathrooms are large, with double vanities, sink tubs and walk-in showers.

The best part of the bedrooms? Taking in that oh-so-tranquil view...

Throw open the windows, sit out on your balcony, take it all in! :-)
