No beach on Anguilla compares to Captain's Bay. Sure, it may have a deathly dangerous undertow, and all swimming is "at your own risk", but it's undeniably beautiful, nonetheless.
Captain's Bay beach is a perfect white sandy, crescent beach. The bay itself is a vast contrast to its sweet shortes... The waves are wild, the seas are dark and the breeze even seems chillier and stronger there than anywhere else on island.
It certainly isn't your typical Anguilla beach, but it's still my favorite!
But, I agree with you know Nori - too bad a giant Anguilla villa now takes up the eastern half of it.
Great site,
Cheryl
