Update 2023: Lobby Bar is now closed. Aurora Anguilla took over CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa in 2020. More on Aurora Anguilla here.
Paving the way for culinary excellence on the island, it should come as no surprise that CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa has been re-invigorating a part of the dining experience that too often goes overlooked by many bars and restaurants... cocktails!
Shaking them up, mixing in fresh ingredients and bringing a modern flair to each drink is the concept behind CuisinArt's Lobby Bar cocktail menu.
Thymeless 10
"Thymeless 10."
"Ciroc La Ferme."
"Johnnie Walker Apple Cooler."
These are just a few of the playful names given to CuisinArt's cocktails.
Each one emphasizes the use of freshly-available ingredients in specific ways to create a variety of drinks to please every palate.
For instance, the "Thymeless 10."
Truly timeless, and my favorite drink on the menu, Tanqueray 10 is mixed with freshly squeezed lemon juice, thyme syrup, all topped with a splash of ginger ale.
The sweet, light flavors work together to create a refreshing mid-day cocktail.
And, the ingredients are sourced right from CuisinArt's hydroponic gardens.
Even the thyme syrup is made in-house using thyme grown on-site!
Another classic choice, a twist on the gin & tonic, is the "Tea Tanqueray." Your choice of tea basks in the gin, its gentle flavor growing stronger and stronger. Add tonic, fresh mint, and there you have it.

Johnnie Walker Apple Cooler
Prefer something a little more robust?
The Johnnie Walker Apple Cooler tastes as good as it looks!
Prepared with Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve, it is mixed with apple juice, citrus and honey syrup, garnished with fresh apple slices and a cinnamon stick.
A full-flavor whiskey-based drink, the apple complements the Johnnie Walker perfectly.
Perhaps most interesting of all is the Ketel One Garden, where one sip is like stepping into CuisinArt's lush gardens.
Ketel One Vodka is infused with fresh lemon grass syrup, elderflower and lemon juice.
Even the Pina Colada has a new face!... Zacapa rum, coconut water and homemade salted pineapple syrup.
The drink selections don't end here!
CuisinArt's rums are not to be missed, either, thanks to one lady, Gloria Leverett...
Gloria knows fine dining. For decades she worked in her sister's restaurant before it became Deon's Overlook back in the day. There, she learned everything about bar tending and beverages.
With CuisinArt since they opened (in the late '90s), she has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience right here to CuisinArt's Lobby Bar.
Here, she crafts and hones her recipes for her homemade rums. Castillo rum forms the base of a variety of Gloria's rums, including her pineapple, banana and ginger rums. Each type of rum is carefully tasted and mixed with other spices to strike just the right balance of complementary flavors.
The ginger rum, for instance, is made with peppercorn. Can you taste it? :-)
Complimentary Rum for CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa Guests
Gloria wouldn't tell me the exact ingredients in each of the rums (that's a secret between her and the rum!), but it sure goes down nice and smooth!
Whether for a pool-side lunch with vistas out to St. Martin, or an evening cocktail on Thursdays with Sprocka's gentle voice and guitar setting a blissful island mood, drinks at CuisinArt's Lobby Bar are a must.
